Troy People
Concerned (TPC) is a service organization aiming to help those citizens
of Troy who may find themselves in a crisis situation. It serves as a
information center; as a referral agency to direct clients to the proper
assisting program; and is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
On Saturday, November 13, 2004, the St.
Stephen's parish will assist TPC with its annual Leaf Raking project. This
project helps senior and disabled Troy residents. This is a great
opportunity to participate in community outreach while enjoying the crisp
fall weather with your family and St. Stephen's friends! Please listen for
announcements; look for the sign-up sheet in the gathering area; or contact
Amy Redmer for more information.
St. Stephen's also helps TPC clients during the
Advent season with donations of food and gift items. Look for needed
item 'ornaments' on the annual Advent giving tree beginning November 27th.
