Vacation Bible School
Pre-School - entering 6th Grade

Vacation Bible School is held each summer during the last week of June. It is fun for all ages!!! Learn about God and have a good time doing it in this 4 evening Bible extravangaza event.
Classes for 3 year olds up to children entering 6th grade AND adults. Youth entering 7th grade through adults are coordinators and helpers for the event. Dinner is provided each evening at 5:30PM and at 6PM the fun begins! Adult classes start at 6:30PM. Cost $15 per child.
In 2011, the bible school participants traveled to Nazareth: Jesus’s Hometown! It was a fantastic voyage back to when Jesus was a boy... where he was a boy.
The 2011 Vacation Bible School participants also gave to other children through contributions of items (e.g. diapers, pull-ups, baby wipes, juice boxes, Dixie cups, band-aids, paper plates, paper towels, toilet paper, pump hand soap, and nonperishable healthy snacks) to benefit Grace Centers of Hope’s up-and-coming daycare center.
Grace Centers of Hope is Oakland County's oldest and largest homeless shelter providing hope and help since 1942. Their new child care center, Hands of Hope, opened in June 2011.

This year we’re going to Babylon. There will be lions. There will be Daniel! There will be sand! There might be palm trees. For sure there will be FOOD!
