Community is an important part of our Parish, and St. Stephen's has many ways to gather in fellowship. During the year, we hold a variety of events:

At St. Stephen's, We Like to Have Fun!

Men’s Night

Men meet periodically gather for dinner and fellowship at a local restaurant for the same purpose as the Men’s breakfasts.

Twelfth Night

A dinner celebrating Epiphany. Singing, including acting out “The 12 days of Christmas.

Irish Night

Held around St. Patrick's Day, Irish Night is a corned beef and cabbage dinner followed by an Irish sing-a-long to live music.

Parish Picnic

Following Youth Recognition Sunday in the spring, the parish gathers for a picnic of hamburgers, hot dogs, sides, and desserts. Multigenerational games follow the meal (How many churches let you throw a pie at the Rector and Wardens?)

A Celtic Concert

In a new event this year, the band "Celtic Isles" performed an outdoor concert open to the public. Proceeds from food sales and freewill offerings supported our Rise Against Hunger ministry.

Bluegrass Mass

Is this a service or a social event? It's both! It is an outdoor service followed by a concert featuring music from our own Ad Hoc band, supplemented by parishioners Red and Bri Douglas. A pulled pork dinner and social time followed.

Greet, Eat & Meet

Groups of 6 or 8 folks [couples and singles] get together for dinner in each other’s homes or a restaurant where they get to know each other more personally.

Advent by Candlelight

Women enjoy an elaborate dessert buffet and libations followed by a program. Men serve and clean up.

Ladies Lunch Bunch

Ladies meet once a month at a restaurant for lunch and fellowship.

Men’s Breakfasts

Thursday mornings at Leo's on Opdyke Rd for breakfast and discussion. The group has a goal of solving 10 major world problems this year.
