Taize Service

Join our evening service of prayer, song, and candlelight in the Taizé tradition. This is a great opportunity to gather with friends and neighbors yearning for a time to slow down, ground ourselves, and be in the peace of the presence of God as we navigate the ups and downs of life.

The service will include music from the Community of Taizé, an ecumenical Christian monastic community in France known for its chants of repeated simple phrases from words of Scripture.

Each year we come together to collect baby supplies for Haven, Baby Basics, and CCRT. Donations may include almost any baby care items, with the greatest need typically being diapers, baby wipes, powdered formula, baby blankets, and burp cloths.

You may begin dropping off your donations at church on Sundays or during office hours.

Be sure to join us on Sunday, July 19, during Coffee Hour following the 10am service for cake as we gather in the parish hall to present all of the donations for Pastor Gerardo's blessing before they are distributed.

Six to eight volunteers will prepare and serve lunch to the children and leaders of the Summer VBS program at Crossroads in Detroit.
